But it does come with loaded chemicals, artificial colors and fragnances. Homemade bath powders also smell great if you add ingredients like kasturi turmeric and rose petal powder. Ingredients:

  1. - Chick pea powder[besan]-100grams
  2. - Multani Mitti- 100grams
  3. - Rice powder-100grams
  4. - Kasturi turmeric[haldi]-20grams
  5. - Normal turmeric[haldi]-5grams[use less as it stains the skin]
  6. - Rose petal powder-20grams
  7. - Sandalwood powder-10grams
  8. - Orange Peel powder-10grams
  9. - Neem Leaf Powder-20grams[acts as preservative so this herbal bath powder have long shelf life]

Procedure:

In a large mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients properly. Blend them together nicely and make sure that there is no lump in the mixture.

Your herbal bath powder is to ready to use. Store it in a jar, and it will last you for almost 2 months.

How to use the bath powder?

For dry skin-

Take 1 tablespoon and mix it with milk. Rub it all over your body thoroughly and let it sit for 2-5mins. Rinse with water and say hello to soft skin.

For oily skin-

For oily skin, mix it with yoghurt or plain water from your shower and rub it all over your skin. Let it sit for 2-5 mins and rinse off.
