On the 5th of November, in Houston Texas thousands of young people had gathered to attend ‘Astroworld’. Astroworld is a theme-based concert and festival created by the American Rapper Travis Scott. Travis Scott is and has been for a few years one of the biggest stars in the Worldwide Music Industry. He has millions of fans across the world and is known for his unique style of rap with heavy production and auto-tune influences. With endorsements from leading brands, his celebrity partner in Kylie Jenner, the success of his latest album (also titled Astroworld) Travis Scott’s stock was at an all-time high. The Astroworld concert and festival was probably the peak of his career and culmination of years of work and effort. He had always stated that he wanted to push the boundaries of live music and entertainment with his unique version of concerts (Astroworld).

However, his image and fanbase was about to take a massive hit with the events that unfolded on the 5th of November. Crowd-surges (not uncommon in his concerts), stampedes, unexplained sudden heart-attacks in the audience and the ensuing chaos left 10 concert-goers dead, including kids and an Indian origin student. Travis Scott concerts have always been notorious for somewhat unruly crowds and his fans (mostly young people) are encouraged to ‘Rage’ and let go of themselves during his performances. Whilst very minor incidents have been reported no one could imagine the scale of things that would go wrong that day.

What happened exactly is still under investigation. But in short summarising official accounts and those of confirmed attendees during Travis Scott’s own set, crowd mismanagement at the entry point and within the concert itself caused massive crowd surges. This compounded with the high frequency and loud music and the high-beam lighting around the stage caused a number of people to have seizures and reported heart-attacks. There were multiple attempts to bring this to the concert manager and Travis Scott’s attention on stage. Nothing was done and the show kept going on despite people repeatedly shouting for help. The more this went on, the more desperate people got and the show descended into a major stampede at different points in the crowd. It was only at this stage that the concert managers decided to step in, emergency responders came through and Scott halted his performance. The end result was lives lost that could have been prevented, hundreds of injuries and thousands of ‘fans’ who vowed to ‘Cancel Travis Scott’.

One of the main accusations on Scott and the organisers from all sections of society that he simply didn’t stop the concert and call for help despite screaming fans, including a girl who attempted to get on stage to alert him & his crew.

Travis Scott reportedly kept on singing for a full 40 minutes after initial reports of people having seizures and stampedes. By all accounts, people including at the front who he could visibly see and hear were desperately trying to warn him and pleading to stop the concert. One of the more disturbing clips that emerged is him continuing to sing on autotune whilst a body was being carried right under him in the crowd. The clip in itself is too graphic to be included in this article but select frames are shown below to given the audience an idea of how easily he could have intervened and called for Emergency Help.

Multiple first-person accounts mention how they felt like “they were in hell” that night and the feeling during Travis Scott’s set was something they could never describe. The high frequency music, the strobe lighting and choice of visuals like some shown below created an overall haunting and disturbing effect. What caused the heart-attacks and seizures is still be ascertained with some blaming drug overdose or vaccine side-effects to others pointing at lack of oxygen from crowd surges. Regardless the concert ambience definitely played a detrimental factor.

Imaging struggling to breathe, in the middle of hundreds of panicked people and the last thing you see and hear is the visuals above with the words ‘See you on the other side’. Whether Travis Scott was part of an elite occult ritual and sacrifice cannot or may never be proven. However the visuals and thematic display of the Concert Stages and Art have quite a few hints to possible Occult Links.

Fans who have been defending Scott point out that the blame cannot be put on the rapper but rather the management team and organisers. Whilst true to some degree, the choice of themes, sound levels, entry points were all subject to the main performers veto. Giving him the benefit of the doubt with these, it cannot be denied that Travis Scott kept on singing and performing when he could visibly see people in distress and possibly dead. There are numerous instances of lead singers or performers stopping concerts when they notice even minor disturbances in the crowd. Travis Scott himself had stopped one of his concerts in early 2021 when he noticed someone passing out in the audience. So why not on that night?

To top it all off, his apology video the next day was seen as in-sincere and not truly apologetic. Other celebrities like Drake who were at the venue also sent in their condolences but attendees pointed out that the VIP section was securely cordoned off and they did nothing to help or let people into their relative area of safety. Travis Scott is currently subject to $3 Billion worth of lawsuits filed against him. Families and concerned individuals are determined to bring him and other parties involved to justice and make them accountable. As of date half of the victims’ families have refused compensation from Travis Scott for the funerals of their loved ones. They cite it as being too little, too late and outright disrespectful.
