Garlic (Allium sativum), is used widely in cooking, but it has also been used as a medicine throughout ancient and modern history.Studies show that roasting, boiling, heating, or pickling garlic can significantly reduce its allicin content.Therefore, while consuming cooked garlic is beneficial, opting for raw garlic instead  maximizes its nutritional value.

1)Garlic Water:This combination of having raw garlic and water first thing in the morning helps you detoxify your body. Garlic is a great alternative to detoxify your body.

Process:
Take 5/6 cloves of garlic & mince it.Pour some warm water,add half a lemon juice and drink it on empty stomach before you start your day.

2)Garlic and honey have been used in traditional medicines around the world.Combination of honey and garlic is very beneficial for weight loss and boosting immunity.

Process:
Take 12 garlic cloves and remove the papery layer, make sure you don’t peel it,Put these cloves in the jar.Slowly pour the cup of honey in the jar,Do ensure that the cloves are fully submerged in the honey,Cover the mixture with the lid and leave it for a few days,After a few days, open the lid and have it every day to witness great results on your body.

Raw,fresh garlic contains a component Alliin . An enzyme called alliinase is activated when the clove is chopped or crushed. This enzyme converts alliin into Allicin, which has a lot of health benefits.Pure allicin only remains stable in freshly crushed or cut garlic for a short time. But letting garlic sit for 10 minutes after crushing or cutting it may help boost allicin levels.

The best way to consume garlic is by eating raw garlic on an empty stomach as the fresh garlic contains Allicin which gets diluted during the process of cooking.
